Project Drömstigen

A kitchen that blends function and warmth, perfect for gathering around food and wine.

Julia Stridh originally had a background in the fashion world but now works more broadly with visual aesthetics. After outgrowing their apartment in Södermalm, she and her family found their dream home – a 1920s villa in Bromma. They took inspiration from the house's history to design their new home, with the kitchen as a central feature.

Their guiding principle during the design process was: How can we make this kitchen as enjoyable as possible?

In collaboration with Artilleriet Kitchen Studio, they created a personalized kitchen that combines different styles, reflecting the family's modern lifestyle while honoring the house's history. The addition of a pasta-cooking faucet, inspired by the couple's travels to Italy, adds a personal touch to the kitchen.

The result is a harmonious blend of function and warmth, creating a space where friends and family love to gather to enjoy food, wine, and each other's company.
