Oval Lantern - Taroko Gorge - 35 cm

The Oval Lantern is a celebration of nature and craftsmanship, designed to bring the serene beauty of Taiwan’s landscapes into your home. The breathtaking Taroko Gorge with its giant marble boulders inspired the pattern of this lantern. The artisan crumpled and tied the fabric before indigo dyeing. Each handmade pattern is organic and unique.

Crafted with a durable Makino bamboo frame, sourced from the mountains of Taiwan, and accented with walnut, the lantern combines strength with elegance. Each piece is individually handcrafted, resulting in unique variations in shape and pattern, making every lantern one-of-a-kind. The Bucket Lantern offers a harmonious blend of natural materials and timeless design, bringing warmth, sophistication, and a connection to nature into any space.
