Founded in 2014, Dagmar produces classic 20th century Scandinavian furniture for the modern home. Scandinavian Modern design represents the perfect marriage between aesthetic beauty, quality craftsmanship and functionality. Thanks to the creativity and skill of these visionaries, Scandinavian Modern design remains crucially relevant nearly 100 years since its inception.

Dagmar features some of the most exquisite and rare original pieces from the Scandinavian Modern era, spanning 1930 - 1970. The cornerstone of this collection is the iconic Clam Chair by Arnold Madsen; designed by Arnold Madsen in 1944, is named "Muslingstol" in Danish for its unique shape. Madsen founded Madsen & Schubell in 1945 to produce the chair. The new edition combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, and Dagmar is proud to re-launch this Danish Modern icon in collaboration with Madsen's estate.
