Artilleriet Exclusive - Ann Demeulemeester
Fashion meets interiors, Ann Demeulemeester, one of the most iconic and influential names in fashion from the 80s and 90s, have put her unmistakable sign on a collection of interior objects including lamps to die for, mouth blown glasses, handprinted tableware and hand-faceted cutlery.
We are proud to be one of few selected retailers to represent the collection.
In 2014, when Ann Demeulemeester decided to pass on the torch of her legendary fashion label, she decided for a new life outside the city with her husband Patrick Robyn. Together they started to renovate a 19th-century country house, for which they instinctively began to make objects.
After learning how to model clay, mix glazes and buying a kiln, her passion grew. One dinner guest was so awestruck by the Demeulemeester’s plates and bowls that she offered to introduce the designer to Axel Van Den Bossche, who founded Serax with his brother Serge in 1986.
This resulted in a collaboration between Serax and Ann Demeulemeester in a series of porcelain, cutlery, glass and lighting.
