The knowledge and experience from the original production process has been applied in the resumed production. Craftsmen from renowned J.O. Carlsson and Forsbergs in Småland have worked to revive assembly with the utmost attention to quality, detail and sustainability. As a student of the Royal College of Art, where he studied Industrial Design Department, and inspired by the organic and flowy shapes of nature, Ekselius was experimenting with metal pipes and textiles. The result: The iconic Easy Chair, which was shown at his graduation exhibition and became an instant success.
