Twenty-Five Bed Limited Edition from De La Espada features a handwoven headboard made from the basket weaving material junco, a highly sustainable material commonly used in Portugal. De La Espada used the timber frame of the headboard as a loom upon which the junco is woven, with a Danish paper cord used for the warp. With its slender frame and relatively small footprint, the Twenty-Five Bed is suitable for compact spaces, while its headboard, beautiful from all sides, makes it ideal for use in the center of a room.
The Twenty-Five Collection by De La Espada Atelier is a cohesive range of intricately detailed, versatile, and tactile furniture pieces. The pieces are crafted in solid wood and take inspiration from the work of 1930s designers, such as Axel Einar Hjorth and Charlotte Perriand, Dieter Rams, and the Shakers.
