Sistema Fonda

In the early 1990s, designer and Santa & Cole founder Gabriel Ordeig Cole undertook the task of designing lighting for the expansive Fonda Europa restaurant in Granollers, Barcelona. The aim was to achieve a pleasant, consistent coloration to accompany diners’ conversations under excellent lighting.
The resulting design incorporated segments of either one or three shades, along with three connector types, enabling a myriad of arrangements. This versatility gives rise to a dynamic lighting system anchored on linear tube structures.

The Sistema Fonda encapsulates modern aesthetics, offering opulent illumination with a contemporary twist. It fulfills the timeless function of lighting suspended structures with an array of lamps.
