Since the opening in 1958 Louisiana has been a home for modern Danish art as well as many internationally renowned works. One of the museum’s greatest strengths is the close contact and collaboration with the international arts and cultural milieu, resulting in the possibility for Louisiana to present an exhibition program that has resonated so strongly with the public over the years.
