Lariat Pendant

Lariat Pendant from Apparatus reminiscent of forms found in jewelry. An etched glass teardrop hangs from finely woven brass mesh. In the Lariat series taut lines and graceful swags are weighted by elongated orbs, addressing an intersection of geometry and gravity. The pendant is also available as custom installation with multiple pendants.

Apparatus is a New York-based interdisciplinary design studio that explores the relationship of lighting, furniture, and objects in their environments. Predicated on the modernist principle of Gesamtkunstwerk, or total work of art, fully articulated collections reveal individual pieces as artifacts of a holistic world - each referencing the historical and cultural mood summoned by a singular vision.

Materials

Armature in Blackened Brass, Aged Brass, Tarnished Silver, or Oil-Rubbed Bronze. Etched glass elongated sphere and finely woven brass mesh cord segment.
