S10 Armchair

S10 Stretched Armchair designed by Pierre Chapo in 1964, undoubtedly a nod to Le Corbusier and his LC2 – which was a resounding success from the moment it was presented to the public. The S10 perfectly combines the paradoxes of a complex assembly with the sobriety of a simple line. The armchair's frame supports two sections of stretched linen or leather, and the armrests are made of leather strips suspended from the seat uprights. The entire structure is held together by the tension of the seat on the frame, thanks to the braiding of linen cords.

Material

Available in oak or elm, oiled with linseed oil. Armrests in leather, and seat in linen or leather.
