L01 Godot Bed

Originally designed for writer Samuel Beckett in 1959, the L01 Godot bed marks the beginning of Chapo’s first collection. Its clean, taut lines and signature box-jointed corners give it a timeless simplicity, while the movable headboard adds versatility. Designed to serve as a bed, bench, or daybed, pushed along a wall, covered with a cloth into the wooden frame, it can also serve as a seat. It rests on four cylindrical legs with a ventilated plywood base for comfort. Minimal yet iconic, the L01 embodies Chapo’s functional elegance.

Material

Available in oak or elm, oiled with linseed oil. Choose from a wide range of upholstery.
