The 54 Chair is a modern reinterpretation of a little-known design from Denmark’s Midtjylland region, first crafted in the early 1950s. Its elegant form bridges the gap between traditional and contemporary styles, making it a versatile addition to any interior. Handmade in Sweden using traditional joinery methods.

Founded in 2014, Dagmar is dedicated to bringing the beauty and craftsmanship of 20th-century Scandinavian furniture into contemporary homes. Scandinavian Modern design represents a perfect balance of aesthetic elegance, quality craftsmanship, and functional living—an achievement shaped by visionary designers and craftsmen during the golden era from 1930 to 1970. This legacy continues to influence global design nearly a century later.

Material

Solid beech wood frame. Upholstered in genuine sheepskin or fabric with foam padding & fully sprung seat. European Oak or American walnut feet.
