S24 Dining Chair

In 1967, Pierre Chapo designed the S24 chair for his friend, Dr. Hiroshi Nakajima. In this model, he emphasized the strength of the half-corner joints to ensure the rigidity of a chair with a very clean line. The only decorative elements are the joint reinforcements between the seat frame and the legs, materialized by visible B.T.R. screws. The seat leather is stretched by a clever braiding of ropes underneath.

Material

Available in elm or oak, oiled with linseed oil. Seat in leather or canvas in a range of colors.
