Mary's Chair

Mary's Chair is crafted in solid hardwood — substantial yet delicate, sculptural yet highly functional. Its design was inspired by a visit to the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in San Francisco, where Matthew Hilton was struck by the contrast between the building's heavy concrete structure and the soaring, expansive space within. Mary's Chair captures this same paradox of weight and weightlessness.

Made in Portugal through advanced technology and craftsmanship to create unique and meaningful objects made of solid carefully selected wood. Each product is detailed and designed to last a lifetime.
