S11 Dining Chair

Designed in 1966, the S11 chair stemmed from the desire to create a novel piece using a pioneering technique. The chair is notable for the aesthetic sophistication of the leather that wraps around the sides, the back, and the front of the chair, making the structure higher and more solid. S11 is considered the first sculptural chair, a style that Pierre Chapo developed for his later chair designs.
