Description
The Moragas table lamp was designed in 1957 by and for the architect Antoni de Moragas Gallissà's own office. The lamp stood on Moraga's desk and he often used it to keep track of important notes or business cards that he attached between the ribbon folds.
The lamp consists of a robust wooden cylinder with a generous circular lampshade that hides a lamp holder for three light sources. The shade is made of cotton ribbon and has a silk thread that runs along the edge that forms an asymmetry that creates a fantastic contrast between light and shadow.
