PP62 Captain's Chair - Papercord Seat

The PP62 is the most classic of all Wegner's chairs. The frame is strictly geometric, the armrest embraces the seated and the backrest provides outstanding comfort. The chair's armrests and backrests are made of solid steam-bent wood.

The first 800 PP62 seats were specially made for the ferry Dana Angelia which would sail between Denmark and England. The seats were praised for their exceptional durability after a storm that the ferry was exposed to where all furnishings were destroyed except Wegner's PP62, where only 2 of the seats needed to be replaced. For over 30 years, the chairs have sailed on with the boat.
